Do not touch the glass portion. If you ever touch the bulb, wash it with alcohol before using, as the grease from your fingers will cause the bulb to overheat and burn out very fast.
Anybody Can Change a Taillight

Taillight Assemblies are generally held in with about six 8 mm nuts, changing a taillight takes about 10 minutes, as all you have to do is loosen the 6 nuts and then unsnap the electrical connector. It's a job anybody can do. Parts Place has new and recycled taillight assemblies.

The taillight assemblies that we sell are usually Hella which is the German company. They are an original equipment supplier to VW, Mercedes, BMW etc. The taillights we sell are identical to what the dealer sells only at a lower price. Taillight assembly are usually the complete lens and housing glued together as one unit, generally, you cannot replace the lens alone.
