Just because you've got a newer car than the rest of us doesn't mean you don't need new struts. In fact, we had a guy order these for his 2001 Jetta TDI (94,000 miles already!) who called us back three times to make sure we were selling complete assemblies (we are). Seems that his dealer wanted about 3 times as much for the struts as we do! Our strut assemblies are brand-new, and are easy for the do-it-yourselfer to replace. Brake Parts
For reasons we haven't figured out yet (let us know if you have!), the newer VW's seem to go through brakes, especially the rears, a lot faster than the older ones. We've got replacement brake parts for far less than dealer prices, so even if we can't tell you why your brakes wear out so quickly, at least we can save you money when the time comes to replace them (and replace them and replace them...)
