Refundable Core Charge

If a product you are purchasing has a core charge you will see it in your shopping cart under the product.

A core charge is a little like a bottle deposit. You pay a core charge when you buy a rebuildable product, and get your money back when you return the core.

Cores are the used parts that may be returned when purchasing rebuildable parts. New, used, and remanufactured products may have a core charge. We send cores to our rebuilders to create a remanufactured part. Having a core charge on most rebuildable parts helps us keep our prices low, is a great way to recycle, and ensures there is product available for the next customer. If a core deposit is shown, this charge will be added to your total at the time of sale but is refundable upon the return of your rebuildable original part. Cores are valuable to us; we need them back on a timely basis to be rebuilt so we have product to sell to the next customers. (See core return policy under warranties and return for more info)

If you have any concerns or questions about the core charge or shipping charges, please call us at 586.757.2300.

part number: 2010

Strut bearings are actually the strut mount and a precision bearing in an assembly that carries the load of the vehicle over the front suspension. If the rubber portion separates or the integrated bearing fails, you will get banging, creaking, and clunking whenever you drive over bumps or turn corners. This also affects the alignment and will cause extra wear on tires and other parts. If they are worn out, its' time to replace them before they do more damage.

Condition: New

Warranty

All products carry a 100 day warranty. Engines, cylinder heads, and injection pumps carry an extended 12 month warranty. See our warranty page for details.

Do-it-Yourself Tip

If your strut bearings are failing, consider replacing the whole front strut assemblies, which will include new strut bearings, springs, and strut inserts, as an easy to install solution. If you have an 85-92 use part #5125, or if you have a 93-96.5 use part# 15079.
